呂亭葳的創作媒材主要以膠彩與複合媒材為主並繪製在不規則的造型畫布上。創作過程視為一種梳理內在思緒的途徑，分別將「思緒」這兩個字拆開來描述，可以解釋為：「思」即為自身的思想、想法；「緒」則為自身的情緒。而創作常是在梳理、具象化自身雜亂思緒，並逐步形成自我的繪畫語言。

Lu Ting-Wei's creative medium primarily consists of gouache and mixed media, applied on irregularly shaped canvases. Her creative process is viewed as a way to sort through her inner thoughts, breaking down the term "thoughts" into two parts: "thought," which represents her ideas and concepts, and "thread," which symbolizes her emotions. Through her work, she often aims to organize and materialize her chaotic thoughts, gradually forming her own unique painting language.
